

Concrete recycling is the process of turning crushed concrete into aggregate, a building material. It is a process that takes concrete rubble from demolished concrete constructions and turns it into usable products. Concrete recycling is a cost-effective way to reuse what would otherwise be landfill waste and reduce your carbon footprint.



The aim of the study was to demonstrate that the developed method recycles the concrete rubble completely and wastelessly. Moreover, as a result of the proposed process of thermal and mechanical treatment of the concrete rubble, the obtained coarse aggregate can replace of the natural aggregate in new concrete and even improve its parameters.

However, the prospects for recycling of waste concrete must be firstly evaluated.
